PPRUK are now working in partnership with an exciting new client who operate out of NHS hospital and CCG sites across the UK. They offer Ophthalmology healthcare solutions to Glaucoma patients as well as a number of other specialities.
A position has become available in the below location for an Optometrist with a specialist interest in Glaucoma to join them on a permanent or self-employed basis to deliver community outpatient eye appointments.
A College of Optometrists Professional Diploma in Glaucoma Higher Cert in Glaucoma and IP registered Optometrist would be required for this position.
Position: Specialist Optometrist (Glaucoma)
Location: West Berkshire
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 (Permanent)
Hours: Up to 60 hours available per week for higher earning!
Required:
· BSC in Optometry or equivalent
· Diploma in Therapeutics (Independent Prescribing) PgDipTp(IP Registered)
· Higher Certificate Glaucoma (PgHigherCertGlauc)
· Ideally 2 years working within a Glaucoma setting
Responsibilities include :
· Dealing with Ocular-Refinement Patients
· Management of OHT and suspect Glaucoma
· Minor eye conditions
· Patient support and education
