PPRUK are currently looking for an experienced Pharmacist within Darlington. This role is to provide specialist clinical pharmacy services for general medicine/care of the alderly ward. To support the medicines-related care of patients, support the provision and development of medicines management services and to participate in training, education and research as required.If you are a pharmacist looking to gain or boost your experience within the NHS, this role could be for you! This is an opportunity to break into an NHS Pharmacy team. You will be working a team, the Pharmacy itself is innovative and is established with prescribing guidelines and great relationships with medical staff.

Locum Dates Available

General medicine/care of the elderly ward work

Working days: Monday - Friday (STARTING ASAP) on-going

Working hours: 08:30am-17:00pm

Band: 7/8a £34.98 Per hour - £40.60per hour

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Travel can be claimed @ 24p per mile for cross site travel only

Trust break policy states all breaks must be recorded and will be deducted (Breaks adhere to EWTD: 20 mins every 6 hours, 30 mins every 7.5 hours worked, 1 hour every 10 hours)

Our Requirements:

· Previous Hospital experience 2 years post qualification

· Qualification as an independent Non-Medical Prescriber, or willingness to work towards

· Cerificate in Management studies or equivalent experience

· Previous experience in experience including Mental Health involvement

· Experience of working as a member of a multidisciplinary team

· Experience of clinical audit

· Certificate or Diploma in psychiatric pharmacy practice

· GPHC Registration
